Lake Seminole Park

I used to go there a lot

Lake Seminole park. It's right behind my house and I used to be there
frequently, walking for my health. I've started again (Aug 1, 2011).

Lake Seminole County Park, in central Pinellas County, Florida.
The aerial (satellite) picture is from the U.S. Geological Survey from pre-2003.
The jogging trail is about two miles long, the ponds are filled with and surrounded by wild life. There are uncountable birds, and it's a great feeling just to walk through it. The trip to get to the park from home takes about two minutes. The gate opens at about 7 A.M. and there are usually quite a few people in there early in the morning to avoid the mid-day heat. Picnicers & boaters fill the place up as the day goes on. Closing time depends on the season, but generally it closes at dusk.
