Latitude: 27.85278;
Longitude: -82.77556; Lake Seminole County Park, in central Pinellas County, Florida. The aerial (satellite) picture is from the U.S. Geological Survey from pre-2003. The jogging trail is about two miles long, the ponds are filled with and surrounded by wild life. There are uncountable birds, and it's a great feeling just to walk through it. The trip to get to the park from home takes about two minutes. The gate opens at about 7 A.M. and there are usually quite a few people in there early in the morning to avoid the mid-day heat. Picnicers & boaters fill the place up as the day goes on. Closing time depends on the season, but generally it closes at dusk. |
